Then three more nuts appeared: a light colored almond with little holes in its shell, a smooth Texas pecan, saying “Howdy partner,” and a little guy who said “My name is Filbert but you can call me Fil.”
They all looked wonderful to Goober. They were eveything he expected that nuts should be.
“Who are you?” the almond asked.
“My name is Goober, I’m a pea-nut,” he said, emphasizing the “nut” part of his answer.
“Welcome Goober,” all three said at once with gracious nut smiles.
